Feeling unwell? PETRA can't give medical help. Stop exercising and contact a doctor. In an emergency call 999 (UK), 112 (EU) or 15 (France).
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
No. PETRA works without an account. Everything stays on your iPhone.
Where is my data, and can you see it?
Only on your iPhone. I don't have servers and can't see, recover or restore your data. If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, PETRA's data is included in that backup.
How do I get a copy of my data?
Profile → Your data → Prepare data export (JSON), then share the file.
How do I delete everything?
Profile → Your data → Delete all my data. This erases your health answers, history, routes, reminders and settings on this iPhone. Deleting the app removes its data too.
Why does PETRA ask health questions?
So it only suggests workouts that are safe for you. If an answer suggests a risk, PETRA asks you to check with a doctor first. Your answers never leave your iPhone.
Why can't I continue? It says PETRA is for adults.
PETRA is designed for people aged 18 and over.
My walk or run stopped tracking.
Keep PETRA open on screen during a walk or run. Tracking pauses when the screen locks or you leave the app. Check iOS Settings → PETRA → Location is set to "While Using the App".
Videos don't play.
The first time, PETRA asks before loading a YouTube demo. Tap Play to allow it. Videos need an internet connection. If you chose "Not now", every exercise still has written cues.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check iOS Settings → PETRA → Notifications, and Profile → Daily tip, rest time & voice.
How do I turn voice cues off?
Profile → Daily tip, rest time & voice → Voice coach.
Which languages are available?
English and French. PETRA follows your iPhone's language.
Does PETRA cost anything?
No. PETRA is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.
Report a problem or a safety concern
Email support@petrapersonaltrainer.fit with "PETRA" in the subject. Safety concerns about exercises or wording get priority.
